Hartă Cuşmed: Biserica reformată

Biserica reformată din Cușmed construită în secolul XIV cu un turnul de lemn construit în 1747, este înconjurat de un zid din piatră.
Se spune că biserica s-a bucurat de sprijinul voievodului Jancu de Hunedoara. Legenda nu este lipsită de realitate deoarece biserica a fost a franciscanilor care se bucurau de sprijinul voievodului. Primul lor lăcaș a fost pe muntele numit și astăzi Barátdűlő. În timpul reformei satul a devenit reformat.
Trăsăturile gotice ale bisericii catolice au dispărut treptat, păstrându-se câteva geamuri și o ușă de intrare. Tavanul în arc din sanctuar și din navă au fost schimbat cu tavan casetat în 1712, respectiv în 1731.
Cu ocazia reconstrucției din 1884, în apropierea arcului de triumf au ieșit la lumină de sub straturile de tencuială picturi murale vechi. În turn sunt două clopote.
