Hartă Halmeu
Halmeu is a documented locality from 1216. In 1274 it is dominated by Kala Tamás, later the names of Ráthony, Perényi, and later the families of Haller and Csató. At the end of the nineteenth century, it had a nursery, a bank, a train station, a post office, and a telegraph office.
