Hartă Şuncuiuş: Peştera Izbândiş

Peștera Izbândiș se află în munții Pădurea Craiului, în versantul drept al Văii Măgura-Izbîndiș, în extremitatea de sud-vest a comunei Șuncuiuș. Se poate ajunge la ea pe
Este una dintre cele mai greu accesibile peșteri din Piatra Craiului.
Intrarea uscată a peșterii se află deasupra izbucului. După ce se ajunge la intrarea peșterii începe un târâș de 40-60 minute, după care se intră într-o lume de vis. În urma eforturilor depuse de speologi, în decurs de 21 de ani, peștera a atins lungimea de 1667,6 m. Vizitarea se recomandă doar speologilor. Se spune că galeriile sunt din ce in ce mai periculoase fiindcă au apărut și gaze toxice. Deocamdată nu se știe de unde!
