Model surrounding villages, during the Reformation, Catholic indigenous population was converted to reformed religion. Catholic religion resurfaces after minorities move to the locality. The first chapel built by them burnt in the fire in 1792, and the priests were forced to move to Arcso de Corund. The current church was built in 1875 on the land donated by Maria Theresa.
In the four-story tower built in 1889 there are two bells. According to tradition, the old one was brought by a minor priest from Arcso and the other was bought in 1931 by believers. In 1911 a copper helmet was built, and in 1925 the surrounding fence was built instead of the 1893.
