In 2006, the Orbán Balázs Memorial Hall was opened in a room of the former school. The writer, ethnographic collector, photographer and deputy born in 1829 in Poland, contributed to the revitalization of Szeklerland tourism with his six-volume work entitled Description of the Szekler Land, published between 1868 and 1873.
