After becoming Reformed, the parishioners of Neaua built a wooden church in 1665. It was demolished in 1680 and they built a new one with a shingle roof. The bell tower from 1684 was sold in 1774 to the church from Drojdii, and the bells were moved to the new church built between 1794 and 1800.
