Museum of Satu Mare was opened in 2004 in a cottage in the nineteenth century. Gathering exhibits began in 1970 under the guidance of Mrs. Piroska Kovács, within the movement called "treasure hunt". Students brought household items and furniture that were destined to be thrown away.
The museum is currently in the care of the Kőlik Cultural Association for the Preservation of Tradition. The three-room house has an enclosed eaves and an oven. The barn and the former barn house craft camps, the atmosphere of the workshop being given by the "Barn Exhibition".
Between 1 and 6 August each year, in Kaláka Camp, young people can learn how to carve Szekler gates and paint furniture.
