Map of Vlahiţa: Catholic church

The Roman Catholic Church of the locality, built between 1756 and 1960, was modified in 1822. There are also two contiguous stones and a Gothic ark. The main altar and pulpit were built by Hoffmayer Simon in Cluj, and the altar painting was painted by Veres Mátyás (1739-1809).
The old organ was donated in 1901 to the chapel of Lunca de Sus, because here was built by Boda József a new organ. In 1914 they were recvirate tubes, and in 1944 was taken by the Russians. In 1984 the choir organ burned everything. The current body was acquired in 2009.
There are 3 bells in the tower of the church. The largest was cast in 1867 in the workshops of Sighișoara Hanchen Mihály and sons. Instead of the two smaller ones, recruited in 1914, were cast in 1926 another two in Arad in the workshops of König Frigyes.
