This manor was reconstructed and ornamented until the 18th century by the famous family Apafi. At the end of the century after the Apafi family died out this manor was given to the Bethlen family. From 1920 it was given to the evangelical church and the communist regime took it over and used as a cultural centre, until it was so overused and poor as for its outlook that it was no longer inhibited by anyone. After 1989 the evangelic church got this manor back and sold to the Eminescu trust Foundation. They made renovation here, enlarged the library part and the whole reconstruction was finished in 2007.
