The medieval believers of Cetatea Balta during religious reform have become reformed, along with the church. The rebellion of Catholicism in the 13th century, when Bethlen Miklós moved to Catholic religion and the hill of the castle, built between 1760 and 1769 a beautiful chapel.
Since then, construction is the only Catholic church in the village. Because of the small number of faithful church belongs Târnăveni. The beautiful ornate tabernacle is the jewel of the temple, in front of which there are 5 stamps on the wooden roof of the altar stone.
There are the stamps of Gross Majláth Gusztáv Károly, bishop between 1897-1938.
