The population growth due to mining motivated the construction of a state school financed by the Austro-Hungarian state in 1906. School was taught in Hungarian and included all children in the neighborhood, including those of the Greek-Catholic school open Alexiu Pocol. The first year work with 57 students in four classes and study religion, Hungarian, arithmetic, geography, singing, drawing and physical education. Between 1960-1965 it was built four classrooms, a gym teacher a direction and a bathroom, and during 1971-1972 was added and a gym.
