Map of Lompirt: Séra house

Sera house from Lompirt belonged to the sister of Ady Endre's father. Ady Lőrinc, Ady Endre's father had a sister Ady Juliánna, who married with Séra Lajos.
The landlord's house Séra Lajos was built in XIX century and it offered enough space to the four children family. Here Ady Endre found a place during his visits in the locality, especially after the grandparents house was broke down, on its place a school was built. The aunt took care of the Ady Endre child, as she was his second mother. Ady used to sit at his stone table and write under the chestnut behind the house. In1914 he sends his relatives a photo on which he writes: "I send this to my beloved relatives from Lompirt, my second homeland. Ady Endre." The stone table under the chestnut persists even today but the Sera manor hasn't long to live.
