Map of Buciumi: Old orthodox church

Bucium locality had an old orthodox church built before 1750. In 1865 because of a command from Viena, according to which the confessional Romanian schools had to have a wall school, the scholar senate decided to transform the church into school. During communists it was a cultural centre. After the building's retrocession in the past church's building a chapel opened for al confessions was arranged.
