Map of Bicălatu: Reformed church

The reformed church from Bicălatu was built in 1402 in gothic style. During earthquake from 1963 the ceiling fall down, the new one with painted wooden cassettes was made in 1697, by Gyalui Asztalos János. Today 185 original cassettes can be admired. On new surfaces resulted from church's enlargement from 1790 Umling Lőrinc and his sons worked.
They worked on new cassettes, on coat of arms which decorate the benches' front side and on the pulpit's crown. With repairs occasion from 1923 the present tower was built, after the project of architect Kós Károly and the 78 destroyed cassettes were placedalso, at which Csöregi Márton și Asztalos József worked.
