Map of Boghiş: Boghis bath

Although it was assumed for a long time that there is thermal wather at Boghiș, the first drillings were made in 1971. The wather contained sulphur, bicarbonate and sodium, it comes from a depth of 400m at a temperature of 42 C. The first basin was built in 1971, other two in 1975.
The indoor piscine and the bath tubs were finished in 1976. The thermal wathers have benefic effects in neurological diseases, gastric hyperacidity and metabolic disorders.
It facilitates the kidneys' function, it sreduce muscle cramps and is indicate in differentiated treatment of some rheumatic and gynecological diseases. Not recommended to the sick people who are suffering with the heart, kidneys, liver and lungs or to epileptics.
