Map of Orşova: Heroes Cemetery
In the period 26-28 august 1944 took place the battle for liberation of Orsova. For the ones who died in the battle this graveyard gave peace, one part of it giving place for romanians, the other parts for the russian soldiers. Right next to the graveyard we can find one of the oldest church of the area.
