Sf. Arhangeli church, also known as the church from Ciungi, where Avram Iancu was baptized in 1824, the church was built in 1791, as a worship establishment with massive walls.
The element that makes the building stand out among the wall churches of the Apuseni Mountains is the altar's apse on a semicircular plan. The interior is covered, according to the traditional system, by a semicylindric arch over the naos and a callote over the altar.
The tower reaching almos 18 m is architecturally simple, without decorations, crowned by a tin casque. The interior painting of the arch is new (1963). The old iconostasis has borne valuable icons signed by Simion and Gavril Silaghi, painted between 1791-1822.
