To get to the beginning of the blue band, we need to follow the transfagarasan road, at Hotel Balea Cascade another 4.2 km up to the sign indicating the beginning of the trail (1520m). From here it climbs Buteanu's edge, and reaches Lake Buteanu (1860 m) in a saddle.
We go through the watershed and reach the pyramid-shaped peak Buteanu (1880m.) We climb to the top, go around five peaks and climb peak Netedu (2351m.) The view is magnificent. A descending road leads us to Netedu pass and then to Valea Văiugii. Here we meet:
We go past a few masses of stone and reach Balea valley, where the Balea lake is situated. Here arrive more markings
