The blue-striped route and the red cross go up next to the cable car station. We cross the water of the Bâlea stream, and we start a steady climb. After approx. 10 minutes bookmarks split. We continue to the left. After a 30-minute hike through the woods we get to a brighter place, where we can admire the Bale Waterfall. After another 1 1/2 climbing, we reach the glacial threshold of the Balea valley near the cable car.
We reach the road but soon part and follow a shortcut that leads us to Lake Balea. Here arrive more markings
