Curmătura Moldoveanu or Galbena saddle is situated at 2310 m altitude between Moldoveanu and Galbena peak, which is why it is called the Galbena saddle. Between the saddle and the Moldoveanu peak there is also the Roșu peak (2489 m). It is a saddle with a splendid panorama to the Buda valley on the western side and to the Rea valley in the eastern part. Here marks come:
