Map of Făgăraş mountains: Valea Rea sheep-fold - Portiţa Viştei

At the Rea valley we can reach 38 km on a modernized road starting from Slatina. At 20 km we reach Gura Văilor, the confluence of the Valea Rea and Zărnei brooks. From here on 12 km is the Balta Pojarnei dam, from where after approx. 5 km we reach Gura Bândei
In this place the Bandaea stream flows into the Rea Valley. From here 1 km the road ends and starts the marked trail. We arrive at the valley of the Rea Valley (1440 m), near which is the beautiful Zbuciumată waterfall. From the sheepfold, we climb to the glacier threshold on a bumpy path.
We follow the Rea valley course, with numerous waterfalls that give us unforgettable images. Until the saddle we have three glacial steps with three spectacular waterfalls. One hour from the queen we reach the Rea valley, which we cross and we reach near Triunghilar lake.
Passing through the rocks and grooves, at about. 2 hours from the end of the forest road, we reach Portița Viștei (2310m), Here we meet with the markings:
