Ever since the eighteenth century, the mineral springs in Seiche and its curative effects on skin diseases have been known. Between 1871 and 1890, the Baia with its surroundings was the property of Orban Balázs, becoming well known for the 24 hot-water valves and the cold basin.
With the death of the owner, the bathroom went down. In the northern part of the settlement, next to DN13a, a wooden building was built between 2004 and 2008 and houses the Museum with its springs and mineral baths. The pitchers, carts of buffaloes carrying mineral water and various containers for the storage of mineral water are exposed.
Here you can see maps of geologist Bányai János, who identified and mapped about 2500 mineral springs. Here is also a part of his collection of rocks and minerals. The museum also hosts the Orbán Balázs statue, as well as the engravings and photos of the resorts, printed in his book "Description of the Szekler Land", which appeared between 1868 and 1873.
In the courtyard of the museum you can see the Sarolta Spring and the Kannásné tree, about which we can find more in the museum.
