The building of the Priory or Catholic School of Girls was built between 1879 and 1880. From autumn 1881, three nuns teach the girls. This is where the young people came to the upper two-class girls school set up by the city's leadership.
After closing in 1919 the Royal Hungarian state secondary school, the Catholic Church opened Middle School girls Roman Catholic nuns run until 1928. The Romanian government then closed the school. After the nationalization, the building retained its original function. There were several schools here. After 1989, the building returned to the Catholic Church. He currently hosts a general school and a post-secondary health school.
