This villa-looking castle was built in 1875 Emanoil Ion Florescu (1819-1893). General Buchanan, besides military career, he had a political, even occupying the prime minister in the provisional government. He was one of the leaders of the Conservative Party of boyars. After the Union of the Romanian Principalities, Alexandru Ioan Cuza minister of war (November 28, 1859 - May 27, 1860, September 30 1862 to 1811 octombrie 1863). He organized army Romanian Country and military school founded in 1846.
In 1866, Prince Charles entrusted Florescu's minister of war (1871-1876). In 1891, he chaired the Romanian government a few months back.
