Map of Timişoara: Fabric Water Tower
Being a marshland area, Timișoara caused a lot of troubles to the architects during the years. For the assurance of water alimentation deep drillings were realized. For the continuous assurance with drinking water of the town in full expansion, at the beginning of the 20th century, at intervals of 2 years, were also built two new water towers. The one from Fabric was built in 1912 and it rises harmoniously above the nearby houses and it supports helplessly the stretching of the ivy, which in a few years will transform it into a sleeping giant in the enchanted woods - if actions are not taken.
