A nagy tó ritkán látogatott hely, hiszen helyzetileg a Nagybiharon túl található, és a csúcsról le kell ereszkedni 350 m szintkülömbséget a Biharea nyeregig, ahol a törfenyő között szépen elbújva megtekinthető a Nagy tó
