Map of Glăvoi: Black cave

The cave is situated in the Barsa cauldron, accessible through the yellow strip of land.
The length of the cave is 1 km. Since 1974, when its connection with the Zapodie cave was discovered, the length of the cave labyrinth has reached 12048 m. This is the reservoir of the eastern side of Barsa cauldron.
Two low entrances lead to the same channels of the black limestone, taking us to a 30 m deep well. A winding channel is situated at the bottom of the well, with a height of 0,5-1,0 és 20 m. There are newer channels and galleries following by turns, the level difference reaches 110m. To wander all over the cave we need proper equipment: 100 m long ladder, nails, wellingtons and light for 10 hours. It is advised only for professionals!
