The cave is situated in the Barsa cauldron, accessible through the yellow strip of land.
After we come down on a quite steep descent we arrive to a vertical gorge of 8 m partially filled with snow. It is the entrance of the Cave of Zapodie with an extensive underground network of over 7 km in which flows two underground rivers. Together with the Black Cave it has 12 048 m with that it is between the first caves as length of Romania.
Here is how the cavers from the Cavers Club Panivy of Czech have seen the Cave of Zapodie in 2004.
