Map of Cehu Silvaniei: Prison

The compact building, with one level, of the past prison of the Sălaj county is located behind The Court. From windows configuration we can imagine the small dimensions of the old sells. The imprisoned need to move was satisfied by the walks made in The Court interior yard. Its high walls shattered all hope of escape, the only allowed walk was the wslk in regular circles. That's why is named "kerengő".
Building's destination was changed since then, some walls were demolished, rooms host today the directorate and other administrative office of general school.
