In the ancient Homorod there were 12 mineral springs and a well with mineral water known to the Romans. They dried up, clogged, or were forgotten, although between 1936 and 1938 the waters of the Lobogo spring were even bottled and traded.
Currently, if someone starts from the Lobogó pension, they will find 5 springs in the Ilona Valley. Some have high flow, others lower. Their slightly carbonated waters are indicated for gastrointestinal disorders caused by irregular eating, smoking, excessive consumption of coffee or alcohol. At Maria's source you can read: Recommended for chronic hypoacid gastritis, chronic mucositis of the small and large intestine, chronic liver diseases, bile duct diseases.
