According to experts, the Homoródfürdő Ilona valley is a true garden fairies. In addition to fish and beavers, otters also live in the waters of the Homorod brook. On the shores are alders and flowers that have survived the ice age. Bears and wolves live in pine and deciduous forests.
Birds of prey protected by law hunt in the air. A special species from the forests here is the Ural owl, one of the largest owls in the world with a wingspan of up to one meter! This intact valley is also a habitat highlighted in the Natura 2000 register.
