The first mention of Kelementelke on the right bank of the Little Tarn dates from 1498. It was inhabited by several families of landowners such as Simén, whose mansion was extended and arranged, Henter, whose mansion was demolished in 1919, Szentkereszty, who built the Catholic church or Botos Kelemen, whose name is preserved in the name of the locality. The famous ornithologist Count Kálmán Lázár (1827-1874) and his wife Amália Simén from Sárd found their eternal rest in the local cemetery.
