Map of Sarasău: Old mill
On a map of 1863 Sarasăului three are common: Mann József Mihály Gábor and János Jurka. Júlia, Mánn's sister married the landlord Mihályi Gábor, who in 1848/49 was prefect of Maramureș. Their mill was located in the street that runs opposite the Mánn house.
It was a mill with a power generator, after nationalization worked for the milling company Ilie Pintilie. Next there was a saw mill, an industrial railway and two houses for employees. Since 1989 enterprise equipment were taken and the building was sold to a contractor.
