Apa is a local certified in 1215. 1717 entered the fire caused by the Tatars in the history of the village. Since the end of the 13th century. the most important landowners were families: Mórocz, Báthory, Wesselényi Vécsey, Boros, Katona Daróczi, Kovács and Szent-Iványi.
