Map of Apa: Lucaciu memorial house

In 1852, Memorialist Vasile Lucaciu, the Lion of Sisesti, was born in this house for his determination to fight for the interests of the Romanian people. In 1892 he actively participated in the development and activation of the Memorandum.
He worked side by side with Ion Rațiu and George Pop de Băsești. The natal home today is a museum where documents and personal objects are displayed, which gives us a window on some aspects of the life and activity of Vasile Lucaciu.
