At the end of the nineteenth century, with the support of local landowners, Satu Mare craftsmen began to build the present church from the stones of the old church.
The work was completed in only five months in 1892. The organ was built in 1908 by the craftsman Kerékgyártó István of Debrcen. Near the small bell, left of the old church, new ones were cast in 1924.
