Map of Zimbor

Sălăjean locality Zimbor certified in documents since 1332-1333, extends along side stream Almașu. For a long time it was The Zsomboris estate. Zsombory Lajos built here a beautiful castle, which he lost in a cards game. In the locality there are two churches: the reformed church built in XV century and the beautiful Orthodox Church built in XVII century.
