Map of Zimbor: Reformed church

The first denotations about the catholic church of Zimbor locality dates since 1330. During protestant current intensification the Christians of Zimbor locality passed to reformed religion, the church built in XV century at the beginning of 1770's was passed to the new religion too.
On the vestry's sustaining pylon was graved the passed away Szilágyi Jakab's epitaph, in 1759. The pulpit was graved by Sipos Dávid in 1742. On stone slabs and on ceiling's cassettes the emblem of the Somborys can be seen.
The chorus' front was painted probably by the well known churches painter Umlig Lőrinc in XVIII century, thing proven by the only cassettes which conserved up until now. The church never had a tower only a belfry with shingle which was built in 1771. The bells made in XVIII century were taken during the First World War, the present ones were made in 1929.
