Map of Făgăraş mountains: Piscul Negru - Lespezi peak - Piscul Negru

It's a route as beautiful, so hard, say those who climbed the Lespezi peak. The map looks short, but the 1300 m level difference puts the test on those who venture to climb the top of the cloud. The starting point of our route is the same as the one marked with the red cross towards the Podeanu saddle:
Guided by the two bookmarks we cross the Capra creek, follow the trail from the south of the guesthouses, climb the back of the old mine, then through the forest.
We arrive at Lespezi Stanes, where we leave the red cross. Guided by the red dot, we continue the climb on the foot of the mountain. After approx. Half an hour we reach the alpine hole with beautiful panoramas, a little more sloping slope so we can admire the scenery that shows us. We continue to climb up to the height of 2522 m. Only a jumper, a 4-5 m rock, breaks the monotony of climbing (in winter it requires a string!). From Lespezi we can almost admire the hill Cornul Călțunului (2511 m), marking does not exist. The view goes especially to the glacial lake Calcutun and the crest of the Fagaras Mountains. Lespezi and Cornul Călțunului peaks together form a double peak or twin peaks.
From here the marking leads us towards SW towards Lespezi saddle (2270 m). At one point, we join the blue band, which we split into Lespezi saddle
From the saddle follows a descent to the Lespezi creek, which is a beautiful waterfall. We continue downhill on the bank of the stream to sheepfold Lespezi, where we meet again the red cross mark I left when climbing. From the sheepfold the two bookmarks lead us in an hour at the Piscul Negru.
