At the beginning of the XX.th century in Targu Mures functioned two brothels. One in the Mill street there went the officers and the other was the "Lads House" what was planed for Elefánt Károly by architect Toroczkai Wigand Ede. In the building that has secessionist style was a restaurant and an interior garden what communicated with several rooms. The garden had a secret entrance as well. The girls were under medical control and if it was necessary they got treatment as well.
