Map of Târgu Mureş: Boot-Maker House

The asset-strong company of the boot-makers was founded at the beginning of the XVI.th century. They built the bastion that wears there name. At the ending of the XIX.th century when the companies were disincorporated there was founded the Boot-Maker Trade-Corporation. Their hall what was built after the plans of Nagy Győző on the first floor gave place to the corporation's offices as on the ground floor it gave place to hotel-rooms and a restaurant. In 1949 in place of the restaurant there opened a cinema. In 1982 the building was restored in its initial state.
