Tivoli Lake was created in the Tivoli Forest for those who did not want to bathe in saltwater. Due to the pressure of the water volume they began to crack and move the surrounding hills. The waters reaching the salt rocks even threatened Lake Ursu. Thus, in the mid-90s the lake was emptied. But even that did not bring the expected result. On the occasion of torrential rains, the brooks Toplita and Auriu brought the mud to Lake Ursu. Finally, in 2010, the bottom of the lake was isolated and the surplus water was discharged into a pasture. From Lake Tivoli, the rainwater is just controlled in Lake Ursu.
On the shore of the lake there is also an adventure park, where the brave young people can have a more special fun.
