Map of Oradea: Rimanoczy palace
Rimanóczy Palace, located on a plot of 2000 square meters at the corner of Trajan and Republicii streets, was completed in 1905. The palace was built on the family property, after the demolition of an older house, by the Rimanóczy Kálmán, after the project of his son Rimanóczy Kálmán jr.
The building has a high ground floor for shops and two floors with apartments. The facade from the pedestrian street is very nicely arranged. Some stylistic motifs on the facade and the roof cornice similarities with Ca d'Oro palace in Venice. On the corner are two balconies and a turret. On the second floor is a loggia with a row of arches. The building was renovated in 2019-2020, on which occasion the courtyard was beautifully decorated with lawn and trees.
