In 1777 on 1 Decembrie 1918 Street no. 24 the Fira family house was built. In the interwar period the Gropsanu family lived on the ground floor of the building. The edifice was modified in 1836, then it was storeyed and receive the balcony, and became the House of Attorneys. Currently, the building hosts the Simeon Mangiuca City Library.
