Map of Zalău: Fountain
Drilled and used from the beginning of XIX century the artesian well sends to surface clean water rich in iron which comes from 400m deep. The opera of an unknown author, the circular fountain is guarded by four angels unfortunately a bit thin ones. Once the water was flowing from the sprinklers from their hands but today is flowing form the taps mounted on the basin's wall. The angels without wings but beautifully painted are looking now, smiling peacefully towards the nearby passers-by.
