Map of Baia Sprie: Orthodox church

The former Greek-Catholic church was built in 1793, once visible on the frontispiece of the front door. The church is unusual because it has narthex. The ship has a wooden vault, and the roof is made of wood, covered with silt. The tower is short.
The lime wood iconostasis was carved in the oriental style, and is lace and needs restoration work. The iconostasis is supposed to be older than the church. The interior painting was probably made at the end of the eighteenth century. The church is used as a mortuary chapel.
