Map of Sibiu: The Orthodox Cathedral
On the Byzantine style, Blessed Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, you can observe the strong signs of the Istanbul Saint Sophie church. It had been built between 1902-1906 following the plans of Virgil Nagy and Jozsef Kommer.
The paintings on the cupola and iconostasis were made by Ocatvian Smigelschi and Arthur Coulin.
