The oldest building of the historical center of Baia Mare was built in Satulung Teleki family. The land was probably bought together with the building, by senior Telki Imre, who turned it into the imposing building that is still visible today. In the first floor building with 10 market-oriented windows, over time, several personalities have perished. The vaulted portal allowed access to the carriages, and the building offered all the comforts of the personalities arriving in the city. Guests include Teleki Blanka, the renowned fighter for the cultural emancipation of women.
After nationalization the house was no longer inhabited, fulfilling cultural functions. It was based Puppet Theater, the Popular Arts School and downstairs were arranged premises. Currently, the building is mostly empty, probably for sale.
