It is assumed that this house was owned by Heltai Gaspar and here also worked its printing house. Beyond the gate there are four commemorative plaques, from which we can find that here was born on January 1, 1557 Bocskai István the ruler of Transylvania, or that Friday was a defining moment in the life of Bocatius János. In all likelihood, the floor was rented to the town hall, because Bocskai György was held here for Habsburgs. The house and the printing house were inherited by Heltai Gáspár jr. And later by his younger sister, the wife of Eppel János, from whom also comes the name "House Eppel". After the Heltai family, the Teleki family, later the Bethlens were the owners of the house. It is now the headquarters of the Sapientia Foundation.
