Here was built the first church of the city probably at the ending of the XI and beginning of the XII century that was ravaged by the Turkish. In the XIII century here was built a vaulted church probably by the Dominicans what turned out to be small.
Between 1428 and 1529 here was built with the espousal of János and Mátyás Hunyadi a gothic church-cloister building ensemble having an interior yard.
Inside its walls several confessions had changed by the time. In 1600 it was gotten by the reformed church, after the Jesuits who appropriated the already burned and ruined church to the Minorities. They rebuilt it as it is seeable today between 1728 and 1745.
The building ensemble is one of the oldest ancient monument of the city where functioned a renamed school as well. Here studied Nicolaus de Mirabilibus who turned professor of University of Florence. Actually here are to be found valuable religious objects, paintings and library.
